Four-time world Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton has explained he has the words 'Still I Rise' from a Mary Angelou poem tattooed on his back and printed on his racing helmet because it inspires him to rise above adversity. Hamilton recalled his struggles as a young black man to succeed in a white-dominated sport, in which he was "almost an alien" in terms of being accepted.
